I brought my partner here as a suprise one weekend in February. We arrived at the property with Sarah and Stephen (the owners) welcoming us letting us know how everything works and informing us about the local attractions and ammenities, and having lit the log burner for us before we arrived - it was such a pleasure walking into the warm living area when the outdoors was rainy and cold. Sarah and Stephen had left us a lovley welcome hamper full of fresh food, including tea, coffee and milk - and already by this stage, we knew that this place of stay was something else, as the previous feedback above states; a little bit of heaven. We woke up the next morning and saw amazing views looking over pendle hill and acres and acres of green fields. From being in the area before, all the pubs around the Grindleton and Sawley area can be higly recommended with a very high choice of food. Without a doubt - we will be visiting again! Later on this year. I would seriously recommend this property to all criterias of people; families, couples, friends - the good thing about it really is that it suits absolutley everyone.
A little bit of heaven in Lancashire

There were 4 adults and 4 children all under the one roof in idyllic rural Lancashire. The owners could not have been kinder or more helpful, directing us to the local beauty spots and amenities. The living area is spacious and clean, ideal for families to get together and socialise around a big family table. We took our dog, Heather and had plenty of walks in the countrside and the owners welcome pets, so we really could go as a complete family. www.foxleybankstables.co.uk

A beautiful property set in gorgeous countryside, my partner and i plus 3 other couples stayed here over New Year, we had a lovely stay. Furnished to a very high standard. Small welcoming pubs 20 minutes walk away, a short drive to Clitheroe, pendle and Skipton. The surrounding areas where covered in snow so i can only imagine what they would look like in Spring and summer. - Although in the summer months there would be no need to use the huge log fire which was fantastic! The property is next door to a working farm, we were a little suprised to see a herd of cows grazing outside but not disappointed as it gave us a lovely country feel. i would recommend this place to anyone, we never did meet the owners but from speaking to Sarah over the phone i can say they are lovely people.
